Our Athens-Limestone CEO class had the opportunity to visit Lucia’s in downtown Athens to learn more about the story behind the business.

Gina Martinez and her son Christian shared the meaningful story of Lucia, who inspired the name of the company and played an important role in the foundation of the restaurant. They also spoke about the importance of being willing to work for everything you want, staying determined, and understanding that success takes time and effort.

One of the biggest lessons from our visit was that success is about more than just building a business. It is about having a strong work ethic, remembering the people who helped shape you, staying connected to your community, and being willing to put in the work to reach your goals.
